AIM to offer summer day camps for youths

AIM will offer a trio of week-long summer day camps for young adults ages 14 to 21 with developmental disabilities.

The camps focus on building communication and independent living skills, and will include community outings and fun activities. 

The camps will be offered June 25-29 in Schuyler County, July 23-27 in Steuben County and Aug. 20-24 in Chemung County. They run from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. daily with lunch provided. Space is limited and the registration deadline is June 19.

Participants must live at home and have eligibility with the NYS Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).

OPWDD Family Support Services provides funding for the camps.
